As our Chief Compliance Officer, you'll be the driving force behind Pocket's compliance program. You'll take ownership of our existing program, enhancing and tailoring it to meet new business needs while ensuring its seamless application on a daily basis. Your role will be essential to our continued growth, and you'll be at the forefront of shaping the future of bitcoin adoption in Europe.
What You'll Do:
Maintain and enhance Pocket's proven compliance program, already audited and approved for the past three years.
Proactively monitor and prevent potential fraudulent activities, working closely with our operational team.
Collaborate with internal teams to investigate and address suspicious transactions, ensuring the integrity of our platform.
Act as a compliance liaison with bank partners, auditors, and authorities, showcasing our commitment to compliance.
Ensure Pocket's successful completion of annual audits, contributing to our ongoing compliance excellence.
Contribute to reducing overall fraud on our platform, safeguarding our users' experiences.
What You Bring:
Experience with Self Regulatory Organizations (SROs), ideally with a focus on VQF.
In-depth knowledge of Swiss law, FINMA regulations, and SRO policies.
Familiarity with EU-related regulations such as MiCA and AMLD5 (bonus points).
Unwavering commitment to bitcoin, with a focus solely on this revolutionary technology (no blockchain, altcoins, or crypto distractions).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly across teams.
Proficiency in both written and spoken English (proficiency in German is a plus).
