Hey Bitcoiners,
As 2021 comes to an end, it’s worth noting that once again Bitcoin was NOT flipped by any other “competitors.”
Despite evidence to the contrary, every year investors seem to think Bitcoin will fall to one of these other coins with inferior monetary properties and network effects.
The truth is…Bitcoin has already won as money due to its superior liquidity, and as a Proof of Work network given its commanding lead in the amount of energy it consumes.
Gigi lays it all out in this thread and makes a compelling argument about why dabbling in sh*tcoins is a waste of time (12/11/21).
If Bitcoin teaches you anything it’s that your time is precious. Don’t waste it buying and learning about worthless tokens competing for second place.
Focus on the winner. Focus on Bitcoin.
