TD₿: The Timechain Codex (a graphic novel) by FractalEncrypt translating Dhruv Bansal

TL;DR Bitcoin is an immutable intergalactic timechain that will transcend planet Earth.

Hey Bitcoiners, 

Sometimes you come across a piece of Bitcoin content that is unlike anything else you’ve consumed before, and that was certainly the case when I first read Dhruv Bansal’s Bitcoin Astronomy series, which I shared in this Daily Bitcoiner issue.

Those blog posts from Dhruv legitimately blew my mind. The idea of thinking of Bitcoin as an immutable, intergalactic timechain that could allow different galaxies to get in sync with one another and transmit information took over my brain for at least a couple of weeks.

It makes you think about how early we are in Bitcoin’s existence. This new money has been around for a little over a decade and, barring no major hack or software bug, it will continue to exist and evolve for thousands and thousands of years. Today, we find ourselves at the very beginning of this monetary phenomenon.

I believe people (or aliens) from the future will look back at this time as the early years of the Bitcoin Era on Earth. Because of this, I think we should all take a moment and appreciate that we are living through truly extraordinary times that will never again be repeated.

Just when I thought that Dhruv’s work couldn’t get better, FractalEncrypt went ahead and took his work and translated it into this beautiful graphic novel that is well worth your time. (09/30/2022)

To make this whole project even more futuristic, the art for this graphic novel was entirely created by AI — Wow!

The pace of technological innovation is accelerating exponentially, and the convergence of all these technologies will shape the future for generations to come.

At the heart of all this lies Bitcoin, the steady timechain that could one day connect galaxies.
