TD₿: The Legend of Satoshi Nakamoto by Erik Cason
TL;DR Satoshi Nakamoto's decision to walk away from Bitcoin was perhaps his greatest achievement.
Hey Bitcoiners,
On this date, 12 years ago, Satoshi Nakamoto communicated with the world for the very last time, never to be heard from again.
It’s hard to appreciate just how big of a decision it was for Satoshi to leave the project he created. He walked away from untold riches, power, and fame so that the world could have digital sound money. In the process, he made Bitcoin unstoppable and truly leaderless.
To understand why this is important, just look no further than the rest of the broader cryptocurrency ecosystem. Every cryptocurrency outside of Bitcoin has a leader, team, or foundation that represents a single point of failure. They are all centralized. But Bitcoin — Bitcoin is different.
Just look no further than Ethereum. Today, you have Ethereum believers idolizing and watching Vitalik’s every move. They patiently wait for his next blog post to drop, where he lets them in on his future plans on how to fix Ethereum (again).
Or take a look at the recent court case with the SEC against the shitcoin LBRY. The CEO of LBRY was called in front of a judge, and their token was deemed an unregistered security. The SEC is going to have a hard time suing Bitcoin and getting its CEO to show up in court.
This easily could have been Bitcoin’s fate as well, were it not for Satoshi’s wisdom to walk away.
Erik Cason wrote this blog post that takes about the legend that is Satoshi Nakamoto. (10/24/2019)
I like to think that Satoshi is still alive and watching his creation take over the world from afar.
If…by some miracle…he reads this, then thank you for the gift you gave the world, sir. 🙏

Quote of the Day
“It's hard to believe Satoshi Nakamoto is real. He's worth 45 billion dollars and has never sold a sat. He walked away from the scene with the legendary line: “If you don’t believe it or don’t get it, I don’t have the time to try to convince you, sorry.” What a gangsta!” - Undisclosed ₿, Bitcoiner

Besides using the same coding language as Satoshi, John Nash died in a car accident (with his wife) in 2015, so if he was Satoshi, that explains why none of his Bitcoin has been spent since.
And he wrote & spoke extensively about Ideal Money:
