TD₿: Supporting the Developer Ecosystem by ARK Invest
TL;DR We must support the shadowy super coders who maintain and work on the Bitcoin network.
Hey Bitcoiners,
It’s easy to get caught up in current events and the price action when it comes to Bitcoin. People often focus on new forms of adoption, use cases, or developments at the regulatory level.
Too frequently it is forgotten that Bitcoin is just software code. Code that is maintained and worked on by a group of developers whom I feel are the unsung heroes of the Bitcoin movement.
Oftentimes these developers work on Bitcoin for a small amount of grant money or for free in their spare time.
It is vital for us as an industry to support these Bitcoin developers who are integral to the functioning and growth of the Bitcoin network.
ARK Invest put on a great summit last year called the ₿-Word where they hosted this discussion around supporting the developer ecosystem (07/21/2021).
We must support our shadowy super coders at all costs.
