TD₿: People That Are STILL in Denial About Bitcoin! by JP Sears
TL;DR Humor can be a very effective tool for bitcoiners to use to combat FUD.
Hey Bitcoiners,
This week I saw two articles in the mainstream media that again chastised Bitcoin’s energy usage while using poorly researched studies and flawed arguments to support their claims.
More frustratingly, they refuse to even acknowledge the other side of the argument in how Bitcoin mining can bring stability to the grid, can make O&G producers more efficient, and can make renewable energy operations more profitable.
It’s easy to get angry when you read the same old, tired FUD for the millionth time. Many times bitcoiners lash out against these misinformed pieces and are quick to call them names, but sometimes the best way to combat FUD is through humor.
Humor can be a powerful, persuasive tool in winning people over to your cause while highlighting the flaws in the other side’s arguments.
One of the funniest videos I’ve come across exposing some of the paper-thin arguments against Bitcoin is this video from JP Sears (01/13/2022).
Kill them with humor bitcoiners because, honestly, their arguments are laughable.
It’s 2022…Bitcoin really deserves better critics. 😂
