TD₿: Is the U.S. About to Buy a Million Bitcoin? - (a Swan Signal Live clip) with with Brady Swenson, John Haar, Steven Lubka and Brandon Quitten
TL;DR: Bitcoin is no longer just a financial asset; it’s becoming a critical strategic reserve for nations worldwide. The U.S. is rumored to be planning the acquisition of up to 1 million Bitcoin.
Hey Bitcoiners,
In today’s video, Brady, John, Steven and Brandon discuss in greater detail Senator Cynthia Lummis's proposed Strategic Bitcoin Reserve. Her bill is supported by incoming Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, aims to position the U.S. as a leader in Bitcoin adoption by potentially purchasing up to 1 million BTC.
If the U.S. establishes a Bitcoin reserve, it could trigger widespread institutional adoption, prompting financial firms like Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan to shift portfolios.
BlackRock's recent recommendation for a 2% Bitcoin allocation further validates its potential. While hurdles remain, political and institutional momentum suggests Bitcoin's role as a global reserve asset is increasingly within reach.
Enjoy!

“I don’t believe we shall ever have a good money again before we take the thing out of the hands of government, that is, we can’t take it violently out of the hands of government, all we can do is by some sly roundabout way introduce something that they can’t stop.”
