TD₿: Bitcoin's Energy Crisis: Fact or Fiction? by Power Laws
TL;DR A short documentary that goes into detail on why the narrative of Bitcoin being bad for the environment is nonsense.
Hey Bitcoiners,
It seems like every day now I am reminded of how amazing the Bitcoin community is.
Hands down one of the coolest aspects of Bitcoin is everyone is incentivized to help support the network in any way they can whether that’s coding, creating a meetup, creating educational resources, starting a podcast, etc.
They figure out what skills they have that can be utilized to push Bitcoin adoption forward and they act on them.
A prime example of this is this educational short documentary by Power Laws that breaks down the debate around Bitcoin’s energy usage (05/23/2021).
Power Laws took the written work of another bitcoiner, summarized it, and then used his filmmaking skills to make an entertaining documentary that’s easily accessible for beginners to digest.
When you have a collection of people all over the world contributing to a cause that’s greater than themselves, special things happen.
Bitcoin’s community is one reason why we will win.
