To better understand how much Bitcoin will change the world around us, we can look at examples of revolutionary technologies from our past.
One historical parallel to Bitcoin is Johannes Gutenberg’s Printing Press which greatly improved individuals’ access to information.
The printing press resulted in an explosion of literacy and communication that resulted in greater access to works of science, and ideas spread much more quickly throughout the population. The Renaissance Period shortly followed.
