TD₿: Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System by Satoshi Nakamoto
TL;DR One of the most concise and easily understood technical explanations of Bitcoin ever written.
Hey Bitcoiners,
This is the time of year once again when I sit down and reread the Bitcoin White Paper written by Satoshi Nakamoto.
On Halloween, Satoshi sent his groundbreaking idea to the Cryptography Mailing List, and the world has never been the same since.
Nakamoto’s paper remains one of the most concise and simple technical explanations of Bitcoin ever written (10/31/2008).
In only 8 pages, Satoshi lays out a monetary declaration of independence from central banks and explains how this new monetary system will work.
It’s truly an incredible piece of work that will no doubt be honored and preserved in museums one day.
Thank you, Satoshi. 🙏

Quote of the Day
“The root problem with conventional currency is all the trust that’s required to make it work. The central bank must be trusted not to debase the currency, but the history of fiat currencies is full of breaches of that trust.” - Satoshi Nakamoto, Inventor of Bitcoin
