TD₿: Bitcoin, A Cornerstone Digital Asset: Part 1 from Neuberger Berman
TL;DR Big players are starting to understand how Bitcoin is different from every other digital asset.
Hey Bitcoiners,
Yesterday I was one of the thousands of listeners in a Twitter Spaces featuring Michael Saylor and Greg Foss. It was a great conversation and I recommend searching for a recording of it, and listening to it.
In the conversation, they mentioned this report from private investment management firm Neuberger Berman, which currently has ~$402 billion dollars AUM (10/27/2021).
I gave it a read and I thought it was a fantastic explanation of why Bitcoin is unique from every other digital asset in existence.
One of my favorite lines from it was, “There are Bitcoin miners that do “the work” for profits (“Main Street”), while Ethereum validators simply put up their “money” to make more money (“Wall Street”).”
Neuberger Berman believes that Bitcoin will be the “cornerstone digital asset”.
I tend to agree.
