TD₿: Big Bitcoin Win in Costa Rica (an update) by Bull Bitcoin

In partnership with Bitcoin Jungle, Bitcoin-only exchange Bull Bitcoin became the first and only exchange in Costa Rica to allow Bitcoin ←→ Colones conversion using SNIPE, the national fiat mobile payment system.
This tool will enable millions of Costa Ricans to access low-cost on and off-ramps for businesses and tourism with just a phone number. Now, anyone in Costa Rica with a bank account can use their phone number and make a Lightning Network payment.
The app converts it to Colones and instantly sends the payment to the recipient's phone. No registration, sign-up, or any paperwork required.

Overview
Bitcoin Jungle is an open-source community project built on the Bitcoin Lightning Network. Our goal is to create a circular Bitcoin economy. We're doing this by providing education, resources & technology to our community, individuals & businesses. We're building a shining example of what a Bitcoin community can mean, starting from the Golden Triangle (Dominical, Uvita, Ojochal, Platanillo, Tinamaste) area in Costa Rica.
The Role
Bitcoin Jungle aims to create community outreach programs. In order for people to see Bitcoin as money they need to be able to earn it via real work, not just air-drops. Bitcoin Jungle aims to create community projects where people can be paid in Bitcoin. If you are a charity or community initiative and have any projects you’d like us to help with then please get in touch.
