Hey Bitcoiners,
Last week I witnessed a murder on Twitter.
To be fair, this murder would be ruled self-defense for Nic Carter suffered an unprovoked attack by a popular Bitcoin critic in a blog post.
Not only did this person write an entire blog post deriding Nic, but he also put words in Nic’s mouth that differed from his actual views on the subject at hand.
That left Nic with no choice but to defend his views and set the record straight - again.
The topic of the lazy critique was Bitcoin’s energy use and whether or not Bitcoin mining helps improve the renewable energy industry, as well as, the stability of the electrical grid.
Nic’s response to the blog post was a tour de force Twitter thread that broke down the data in detail for all of the reasons why Bitcoin mining is an innovative invention for the energy industry (01/13/2022).
As our industry grows, we will continue to gather data and learn about new ways Bitcoin mining will improve the energy industries around the world.
This is just the beginning of the Bitcoin energy revolution.
