TD₿: A Declaration of Monetary Independence by Brady Swenson
TL;DR The history of monetary policy has been wrought with injustices which have led to Bitcoin, a declaration of monetary independence.
Hey Bitcoiners,
Seeing photos and videos coming in from the conference this week has me inspired.
A group of individuals, builders, and thinkers are joining together to try to do the impossible…change a broken financial system into something better.
This comes after we have seen power and wealth continue to be concentrated in the hands of the few. For the majority of people, this legacy financial system, that they have zero control over, is simply not working for them or is even working against them.
Bitcoin is a parallel system that’s attracting more and more people by the day because it offers something different…monetary self-sovereignty.
My colleague Brady Swenson wrote this declaration a few years ago that still resonates with me to this day (04/21/20).
All I can say is I’m proud to be a bitcoiner. I’m proud to be working in this industry full of special people, and I’m proud to be playing a small role in building a bright orange future.
Enjoy your weekend.

Quote of the Day
“Here’s to the crazy ones — the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently — they’re not fond of rules. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things. They push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.” - Steve Jobs, “Think Different” Campaign by Apple Inc.
