Fighting for Liberty in the Digital Age - (a panel discussion) from Pacific Bitcoin 2023
TL;DR: Natalie Brunell moderates a panel on technology's impact on digital privacy, including CBDCs, encryption vs. surveillance, and Bitcoin's role in enhancing privacy.
Hey Bitcoiners,
Natalie Brunell, the host of the CoinStories podcast, Sam Callahan and Natalie Smolenski took the stage at the Pacific Bitcoin Festival 2023 to talk about the impact of accelerating technological advancements and their inevitable consequences - increased technocratic surveillance.
As governments and central banks worldwide move towards implementing digital currencies, the implications for individual privacy become a major concern, especially around the introduction of CBDCs.
Enjoy!
